Right after visiting Welwyn Roman Baths, come here for a meal. The British cuisine is good at this bar. The recipe for success of The Wellington is its tasty ribs, venison pies and steak frites. You will be offered good sticky toffee pudding, strawberry crumble and brownies. Don't miss the opportunity to drink delicious gin, beer or wine. This place has great latte or good tonic among its drinks.

It's easy to find this spot due to the convenient location. Many guests find that the staff is nice at this place. Professional service is something that visitors note in their reviews. Low prices are to be expected at this bar. The lovely decor and peaceful atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. The Wellington scored 4.2 in the Google rating system.

We had such a lovely stay at the Wellington. The staff went above and beyond to help me with a very much needed earlier check in. The room was perfect exactly as it’s photographed. We ate dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were delicious. I would 100% recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Service: 5

This was our 3rd visit, and each time we have requested a different room. Each stay has been as wonderful as the last, and the next time (February) we will request one of the remaining rooms we have yet to stay in. Unfortunatley we are yet to have dinner at the Inn, but the breakfast is amazing and the staff have always been kind, caring and friendly. Hence why we came back again and again. There were a couple of things that were out of the control of the staff that proved a little bit of a nuisance, the length and loudness of the church bells for example, with no double glazing its loud, but you can't have DG on such a beautiful building, and after the bells woke us up from our slumber, we then had to endure the sound of a ukulele or mandolin being "practised" in the room below us, this was a little torturous and so we made a quick exit to breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit. My photos are of rooms from previous stays and breakfast from this stay. Service: 5
