My wife and I had previously visited The Wharncliffe for food in the afternoon and always had a great experience so decided to try one of their themed ātaster eveningsā with last nightās being a āTaste of South Asiaā. We couldnāt fault any of the delicious six courses, and at Ā£35 per person it represented unmatched value for money. There were items on there that I wouldnāt normally order but decided to try anyway and Iām pleased to say that Iām glad I did! There is also a large wine selection, draught and bottled drinks plus hot beverages for the end of the night. All this, coupled with a very pleasant and relaxed environment made for a superb evening. Finally, I would like to mention the staff who worked incredibly hard all evening making sure food was out on time and that refreshments were replenished when needed. They were all very polite, courteous and showed maturity and professionalism well beyond their years (you have to bear in mind that many are first and second year students who are effectively still learning their trade). Rest assured we will be back again and have already made our booking for a āTaste of Franceā at the end of April. Thanks again Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
