They need to Fig-ure things out. This place has fallen from grace. It used to be a great place with delicious food and service. We used to come here all the time for brunch, but I went there a few weeks ago and the disappointment is still on my mind till this day, so I have to make this mention. We ordered a steak sandwich with no bacon and confirmed the special request with the wait staff and the lady manager, we waited about 2 hours, only for them to bring out the order with bacon. When we asked to get one without the bacon, they just took the bacon out and served us the cold sandwich. In addition , I saw a young kitchen hand behind the cafe section chopping carrots and a piece fell on the floor, he proceeded to pick the piece up and put it back into the bowl, truly disturbing to witness. So we waited about 2 hours for our food and we left pretty much on empty stomachs and greatly disappointed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60

My partner and I have been frequenting the Wild Fig for about a year now, in the beginning the place was great, good food, tasty coffee and friendly service, we have been continuing to go as it’s a great local place but recently over the past few months the service has gone downhill, staff are not friendly, coffee takes well over 20 minutes to come out and food seems to take even longer, on Sunday 26th we had to chase our coffee and food order after waiting over 25 minutes, the venue wasn’t unusually busy so that was disappointing- when we chased down our food and it finally came out mine was piping hot and my partners pancakes were two thin burnt pancakes, cold to the touch and served with cold bacon and eggs. We did get our money back for the cold food but an extremely frustrating situation considering this has happened the last few times we have gone. Hopefully the standard lifts again soon as we did really enjoy coming here.
