This is a must visit Bakery if you are in Carleton Place. Pretzels like I used to get in Germany. The farmers sausage wrapped in pretzel bread are really yummy. Several selections are also available if you have a sweet tooth. You will not regret your visit. I came across The Little German Bakery and it caught my eye after waiting at the traffic lights at Bridge and Lake. I had to stop in and as I did I said, "you are going to have a tough customer since I am in Germany every year". I bought the Multi-Grain bread and two pretzels, the latter which I'll have later with some good Polish Lezajsk beer. The bread was excellent and had a great flavour unlike the rest of the breads you buy at food stores.

Wow! Thank you A.C.E. we appreciate the compliment about our multi-grain bread....the brötchen buns have also received favorable reviews as well. As for the beer...Yes...indeed the Polish beers are the best but do try the Dutch beers as well - it would be hard to choose a favorite! Thanks again and we hope to see you again.
