We had a wonderful stay at The Spot Hotel in Jambiani and would absolutely recommend it. It’s a great small hotel run by a lovely Italian couple who clearly care a lot about the property and their guests. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning in all rooms. They also have a power generator, which is a huge plus and honestly a must in Zanzibar. The central village location is a big plus — just minutes from local restaurants and shops. The beach area is really nice, with sunbeds and shade, and there’s a cute pool that’s perfect to refresh in during low tide. The whole place has a great relaxed, beachy feel. The owners Roberto and Vale are incredibly helpful and kind. They are always there if you need anything, help with every small detail, but never feel intrusive — which we really appreciated. The food is very good, the staff are lovely and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home. It’s quiet, feels very safe, and is perfect if you want to relax and enjoy Jambiani without noise or crowds. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely come back! Service: 5

A small gem in an amazing location! The rooms are better than the pictures and are all very clean, comfortable and we had a wonderful view of the sea. We spend 4 days and had a wonderful experience: Roberto, Valentina and their son Dario are a wonderful family and made us feel welcomed and super taken care of: service, food, excursions and all were super and we could have not wished for more! They went beyond what you would normally expect. We warmly recommend TheSpot for who is looking for an authentic place to stay with great service and friendly and relaxed environment. Service: 5
