So I drove passed where this hole in the wall "used " to be. They went out of business and the location is now a marijuana dispensary. Dreams do come true...businesses not in the business of selling everyone food don't deserve to stay in business. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I've waited damn near 15 years to write this to them. Kinda happy this placed closed. It really gave a bad name to AZ bbq. The food was ok, sometimes cold, or dried because they reheat everything. The biggest reason I'm leaving a one star, and the bad name of bbq in AZ. Is the people that ran the place. From my understanding the son took this location over. He treated customers like shit, was asking my (at the time) 16 year old brother questions about his sex life with his 16 year old gf. I remember calling them and asking if their catering was cheaper than a competitors on deer valley, and the guy I was talking to was arguing to me about the prices I JUST got from them. Again, thankfully this place is gone and is nothing but a underwear streak on Glendale.

I love the décor and the feel of an old highway diner with all that neon. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was not to my liking but the pork sandwich was delicious. Everyone in our group ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was unanimous that it was good. The service was slow even though there were very few customers, probably because we arrived shortly before closing time. I would go back to Thee Pitts Again again ( I couldn't help myself ).
