We stopped here in lieu of Cuppa Joe Drive Thru which we love normally go to while visiting Traverse. We didn’t realize prior to going that it is a dairy-free bakery and coffee shop (which is fine by me). The owner was so friendly, helpful, answered any questions we had and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our drinks before we left. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, my husband ordered one of the specialty drinks with an alteration or two; (I think it was the MI Fudge with no fudge sauce, but I can’t remember for sure). We also ordered a box of their chocolate mini muffins for our kids, a citrus orange scone and a pumpkin caramel donut. My iced latte was great (I’m very picky about them), my husband didn’t love his drink, however he is a dairy guy through and through so I think he just didn’t love the almond milk. I took a sip of it and thought it was fine. The scone was slightly dry but still had a good flavor. The muffins were pretty good. And the donut was a little too sweet for my liking but I’m sure someone would favor it. My only complaint is that the $1.50 up-charge for oat milk was steep. They made my birthday morning spectacular, not only with one of the best lattes I've ever had but also with service that I've not found anywhere else. This is THE place to go.
