Serving good ribs, lamb shanks and burgers is the feature of this restaurant. Delicious beer is worth trying here. The success of Thornwood Valley would be impossible without the efficient staff. Here you will pay low prices. The atmosphere is comfortable, as visitors find it. But google users rated this place and it didn't achieve a high rating.

Fantastic food. We weren't sorry about anything we tried. Expensive but worth it. A different dining experience.

It was my first time at Thornwood. I don’t quite know how to rate this. My wife and I ordered two Kaluha Coffees and a large chicken nachos. The waitress came back 15 later asking what a Kaluha coffee was when the coffee arrived it was one Kalua Coffee and one plain coffee. The nachos was a disappointment. The discription of the nachos and what was served didn’t match. No chicken. No seasoning as little toppings as possible with probably a spoonful of cheese. Probably the worst nachos I’ve ever had. It was basically a side plate of nachos. While i don’t expect a whole chicken breast on the nachos, I at least wanted to see and taste the chicken. It could have done with black beans, chicken, more cheese and chopped onion. Sadly I won’t be back Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: R 50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The food was below average for the price you paying. I ordered starters, too which the waitress asked what our mains would be so she could get the order in, I asked politely that she doesn't bring the starters and mains at the same time or while we are still eating the starters. she brings the starters and the mains straight after that. I obviously wasn't clear enough. This was my second time at Thornwood valley and will probably be my last. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
