I don't think deep dish is really my speed, but I enjoyed High Dough by Three Boars' take on the Detroit style pie. It's a little much to handle after 1 or 2 slices, at least for me, but they are an enjoyable 1 or 2 slices with a pleasantly caramelized cheesy exterior, crispy crust, and fresh dough. The cheese is a bit too salty for me, but the garnishes/spices are a nice touch. High Dough also offers several other very interesting pizza flavours, including donair and Korean style -- definitely going to be worth checking out. As for the baseline cheese pie -- it's good, but nothing I'll crave. Regardless, if anything good has come out of this COVID mess, it's that Three Boars is now making pizza!!
