After a 7 mile walk, our group popped in for a drink, served immediately with a reasonable pint of black sheep but it's a gastro pub with intimidating clientele but we found sitting OK in a corner with a large TV screen featuring horse racing but the sound was off and no loud music. But as we left, 3 of us went out a back entrance but a gate was locked, so we had to re enter the pub to find the front entrance, much to the amusement of the crowd. This was after 3pm on a Saturday. I hate to think what it's like when it's busy, later in the evening. All I can say about it is it could have been worse. From the outside, it looks attractive but I won't be back. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
