We last visited Throwback in early June of 2026, late morning on a Friday, a party of two. We've been here before so we knew what to expect. The restaurant is in one of those old villas in Cotroceni. It has indoor seating in two rooms separated by a hallway that hosts a bar; this is on the first floor, which is a high first floor, you climb some stairs to get there. And there's a terrace with some eight tables, only three of which can accommodate more than two people. The place is clean and well maintained. Service is good, prompt and friendly. On this particular occasion our server made a gaffe when he made a rude remark. I think he meant to be funny, but it came out rude... Anyway, we treated it as an accident and we let it go. The food here is very good. The claim is that prepare the food like in the old good times, hence "throwback". The reality is that the dishes are "reinterpreted" as say say, you take an old recipe as a basis, don't follow exactly, add some twists, and voila! But they got ir right, everything I had here was delicious. Bottom line, a nice place, very good food, I'm sure I'll be back one day. Experiență foarte plăcută la Throwback II Food and Stories! Am servit „Pui și păpușoi”, halloumi burger, Pornstar Martini, Shirley Temple și negresă cu înghețată — toate au fost foarte bune, gustoase și frumos prezentate. Atmosfera cozy, servirea amabilă și vibe-ul super fain. Recomand! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: lei 60–80
