Yelp thinks we are in San Francisco - we are in Los Angeles! This past Saturday night, Thyme Cafe and Market catered a dinner for 30 people at our home, something we had never done before. The choices we were given from appetizers to dessert were numerous and appealed to all tastes, so it seemed that whatever we chose would be delicious, and it was. All of it! The staff, from our evening's manager, Adam, to the chef, bartender and two additional servers, everyone was efficient, attentive and kind. The bartender did not wait for folks to go up to the bar, but went to where the crowd was prior to dinner beginning. We did buffet style and there was never a time that anything ran low. There were some particular food needs and those were seamlessly addressed without making a fuss over the people involved, which was greatly appreciated. All leftover food was neatly packed for us to enjoy over the next few days, and our kitchen was left spotless.
