This is a little gem of a place and a great asset to Lowdham. Approx 4 weeks ago, our party of six including my brother visiting from Alresford where there are plenty of good class casual eateries, called in on spec following a decent walk around Lowdham's beautiful countryside. What a way to finish off a good walk! Breakfast type cobs all round with a variety of teas and coffees. Excellent food, perfectly cooked and well presented served efficiently by very pleasant staff. My brother hasn't stopped talking about it. We've just repeated the exercise (minus my brother) and again had a faultless experience. Lowdham isn't a pretty village but it is well served with amenities. Thyme is a fabulous addition. Full five stars all round! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic cafe with lovely staff. It's great for all times of the year as it has an indoor utility area but outdoor seating for spring & summer. Food is fresh and the coffee is great. I'd highly recommend. Price per person: £1–10

A really great cafe with absolutely amazing food, great service and friendly vibe. There is a nice interior in the cafe building with a few tables (I haven't eaten in there) but also a lovely outside hut with seating for 20 people as well as more outside tables for around 30 extra. The menu has a lot of Brunch options as well as sandwiches, soups, and lunch items such as steaks and salads. Local produce sold inside. It has a license for alcohol. It's really rather great. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes
