Absolutely one of our best meals while in France! My husband and I were lucky to enjoy a lunch here while staying in Juan les Pins. I ordered a fantastic seitan dish that resembled a steak on my plate. No kidding!  Ok, ok, it was nothing like a steak, but it was a large slab of homemade seitan (yes, I found out later that the chef makes it himself) that was grilled just like a steak would have been. This restaurant understands cross-contamination, so my meal was cooked separately to avoid that catastrophe of getting me sick. The place was filled with locals on their lunch breaks and we were really lucky to find a table for two during the busy lunch rush. Best to arrive early if you're here during tourist season, but since we visited in February, we were lucky to find seating though there was a wait when we left. The final kicker for the 5 stars besides very friendly and attentive service, the good menu, and great food, was when the chef made his rounds to visit the tables. He asked us (in French) if we'd like anything else. Because my husband loves French hot chocolate so much, he ordered it, but the chef informed him that it's not on the menu...then hesitated, and then, with a smile said, "But I will make you one. Just give me a few minutes. I want you to be happy."  My husband tried profusely to prevent him from making a special item, but the chef insisted. A few moments later, the chef returned with my cappuccino and my husband's specially made hot chocolate. He said it was thick, chocolately, and the best hot chocolate of our entire trip to France. We love Ti Toques!
