I visited here three months ago , and the food was amazing and service was fabulous. After a recent visit , I felt that the service was rushed by the female server , the gentleman that was assisting us was great. After receiving our meals, one of the dishes had bok cho and on the roots of multiple leaves , there was dirt i was told by a staff member that it was pepper , but it clearly was not. The Gentleman staff member came back over and took it back to the kitchen and did confirm that it was dirt. Yes they refunded that dish but it shouldn't have got to that level. I understand that it was a busy night.However , service and foods safety should not be neglected. This used to be the best Vietnamese in the Eastern suburbs however last night’s food was so disappointing. No flavour, no herbs in the Bun and expensive! I will not return :-(. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Dine in Price per person: A$40–60

I have just tasted the best Bánh cuốn with pork in Box Hill, such a satisfying dinner with good service. It’s my first time visiting Tien Dat and it’s a wonderful experience, I’m glad that I walked in today! Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
