Very good experience at Tierras Altas. The food is excellent. We ordered the parrillada, which was a delicious combination of meats, all well prepared, flavorful, and cooked just right. One thing that really stands out is the salad bar. It is not always easy to find a good variety of greens in Ecuador, so it was great to see a fresh, well stocked salad included with the meal. They also have draft beer on tap, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great experience. It is a convenient and worthwhile stop if you are traveling on the highway between Quito and Ibarra.
