A gem of a restaurant. If you're driving down the coast, Timber Roadhouse is well worth a detour. Beyond the delicious food and classic decor, the warm hospitality delivered by Gino and the staff was one of the best experiences of our California roadtrip. Hope to return on my next trip out here. Good food, great service, old, dirty building with a giant dining room reminiscent of the 1970’s but not in a good way. Outside dining area is loud from road noise and completely without charm. How is that even possible here? The building is covered in cob webs and the whole place is a disappointment. The calamari was not good and there were about 12 chewy pieces on the plate. Odd. Drinks were yummy but weak. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

I was looking for a unique place to have lunch. Being new I searched and discovered Timbers Roadhouse. This place has history dating back to WW II! Food was great and service was fantastic! And the outdoor seating area was next to a huge play area for the whole family!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
