I ordered lamb which was good but the difference was in the spicy chutney. I recommend the Tataki first, very good. They have an excellent wine list with prices for all budgets, but I was undecided about which one to order and no one came to advise me. We went to eat yesterday. The place is super cute and cozy. The service was average: we had doubts about the wine (they have a super complete menu) and we let them know but no one sought to advise us. The food has nothing extraordinary, except for a prawn crepe that did have a different flavor. But the pork I ordered was not easy to chew and the foam (mash) was too cold. The lamb that my partner ordered had little flavor and was saved by a chutney that came as an accompaniment. The place is good but not worth what it costs. If you are in Villa La Angostura and like good food, you can't miss Tinto Bistro, together with Las Balsas at the top of the gastronomy local scene, by far. Not only is the food delicious, but the place is cute, cozy and welcoming. The service is excellent, and Matías and Rocío are attentive and professional, yet warm at the same time, while Lucas will prepare delicious cocktails. Matías speaks fluid English and will guide you through the menu and provide all you need for a fantastic meal with class and kindness. This place offers elaborate dishes without stiffness. Highly recommended. We went twice in our very short stay, and wished we could have dined more here. The price to quality ratio is fair, and you could come several times and always find something appealing in their menu. Thanks to Tinto Bistro for the excellent menu and service.
