this spot was on my list for a while and im finally glad to check it off. we ordered a a variety of tacos and they were all packed with meat!! the tacos that on flour tortillas were okay we preferred the ones that were on corn, but that's just a personal preference. the staff was friendly and even made us an off-menu drink -- a horchata latte w strawberry milk and cinnamon taco ranking: oriental, pastor, barbacoa, and beef fajita what we ordered: - oriental - pastor - barbacoa - beef fajita - chips and guac - horchata latte ig: @whatsviveating

Nut allergy friendly! No issues with anything here that I noticed. Some of the best tacos in Houston! They are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. I've tried the Pastor, Barbacoa, Fajita, Oriental, and the Samuel here. The Samuel is amazing and my favorite, and I would say the Oriental is a close second, but I've never got wrong with anything here. I'll usually eat about three or four tacos for a meal. The meat is always tender, the corn tacos keep it all together and pack their own flavor, and the tacos hold up on their own without any salsa but you can always add some. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I'm sitting at our table in Tio Trompo watching my two teenaged nephews and my husband Hoover up the remains of pastor Super Family Taco Kit. I'm stuffed and I'm amused watching all my guys filling their faces and their proverbial hollow legs. They're making happy noises while the remains of dinner disappears. I polled them on how many stars to give the place. Ethan, the younger of the two, somehow muttered "12" while still chewing. Zion only said, "all of the stars you can", before adding another guacamole-laden chip into his mouth. I'm sipping on my hand-made horchata while I type. Yelp needs more stars...I agree with Zion: "all of the stars you can." Run, don't walk, and get your tummy happy.
