A truly iconic place to grab a bite of authentic Mexican food! This is where the 5 stars for Atmosphere are really not enough!! With all of the amazing and creative art sculptures created out of junk, it’s worth coming here just to see how cool it is! The food is then just a bonus on top of that. The carne asada plate was delicious—very flavorful! Also, the shrimp tacos were loved as were the beef tacos. Salsa bar was good and the cheese sauce was just okay. But the delicious drinks — AMAZING!! We loved the different horchata flavors and also the watermelon drink. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This my second visit at Tio’s Tacos and disappointed. Paid $12.99 for a shrimp burrito bowl and shrimp an additional $5.99. My food was cold and there was a very small quantity. Absolutely not worth the money. They did heat up my food, including the one teaspoon of guacamole. Honestly they have better bowls at El Pollo Loco. No flavor at all. I did order a Michelada, which was fantastic. Would I come back to Tio's Tacos? NO! The owner should be ashamed to charge that amount of money for that food and poor quality. Awful,awful, I'm going to be sick later probably. Never again...won't recommend either.
