TIP TOP RESTAURANTS Tip Top was founded in 1929 on Jalan Pandu, Medan, North Sumatra. At that time it still used the name Jang Kie, according to the owner's name. Didrikus Kelana, who calls himself Kus, is the third generation to manage Tip Top. Jang Kie is still related to grandfather Kus. Kus passed on the baton from his father. Since its founding, Tip Top has maintained its way of providing food, cakes and bread. Tip Top uses a fire pit to make cakes and bread. Firewood is still used as a fire source.
