I almost skipped Toadstool Cafe because of all the reviews saying it wasn’t worth it, but my 8-year-old begged to go for his birthday dinner and I’m SO glad we did!! The atmosphere was incredible and so immersive for any Super Mario fan, the food was actually really good for a theme park, and the Peach cake was DELICIOUS. Honestly, the way they keep things moving and help families find seats was super impressive too. It never felt chaotic even though it was packed. If you’re going with only adults maybe I could see skipping it, but for families with kids who love Nintendo? I’d absolutely call it a must-do experience! Universal just does quick service dining right. Disney needs to take notes. It's so nice to not have to fight for a table. Here you wait in line for a table, they seat you, you then use your phone to order and they bring it right to your table. The food here was good. The bowser challenge meatball had good flavor. The hot sauce was typical Louisana hot sauce which provided a good kick. Kids enjoyed the burger and the spaghetti. Wish there were a couple more options of food to order but overall good experience. Worst burgers we've ever had! The restaurant is themed well, service was really good but the food was awful. The burger was luke warm at best, very dense and the burger bun was dry as a camels hoof I'm the middle of the Sahara desert during drought season! Yes it looked great but looking at it wasn't going to prevent the hanger rage setting in and turning full Bowser. Blood awful, don't bother. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
