What happened to this place? I have very fond memories of the banana coffee and the parisan omelet. Moreover, attentive workers. My coffee was cold. When the omelet came out, something was really off. There were supposed to be caramelized onion and chevre (goat cheese). The amount of onions was so overbearing, that is all i could taste. And then...the chevre is a goat cheese. It will get creamier in an omelet. This concoction was so watery. It looked like ... runny milk. I asked them to remake. Which they did, and rather quickly. Same thing. The manager could care less. He took my plate, turned on a dime, and then speed walked away. Nothing about how can we fix this...or what are your specific complaints. And then the waiter at the end said he hoped this experience would not keep me away -- but it will keep me from going back. I will head to the one in Birmingham, which exceeded expectations my last visit over the summer.

We came to the area from NY for a concert. Happened to see this place when going somewhere else for breakfast and decided to give it a try instead. Boy am I so thankful we did!!! Staff greeted us warmly and fast, food was seriously delectable!!! Like I would travel the 400mi just to come back and eat here!!! I'm throwing 5 stars like I'm Oprah over here Price per person: $10–20

Toast was a good experience overall. The food was solid — fresh, flavorful, and had some really good highlights, even if a few things were just average. Service was decent, but it did slow down a bit when it got busy, so there was a bit of waiting involved. The atmosphere is nice and has that classic brunch spot feel, though it can get pretty crowded at peak times. Overall, it’s a strong spot and definitely worth going to. Not perfect, but I’d still recommend it and would come back again.
