Really good wood fired bar pizza pie... No-flop crisp crust, good toppings, and sauce. Worth a try when you need something to eat without any drama. Half a dozen beers on tap and full bar with cocktails for something stronger. Oh, and their house salad is surprisingly good and a nice compliment to their pizza. Blake was a five star human. He wasn’t our server but took exceptional care of us. He brought us our pizza and offered to bring back any condiments that we might have needed. This should be standard practice, (if you’re going to run the food be prepared for the guest to have a couple requests) but is so often scoffed at or forgotten. Blake answered this flawlessly. Always smiling and sharing his positivity. Our beers were served in cold glasses (a huge plus) and our food was delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by for a bite and a cold beer. Walking along King Street, you’re met with a variety of ways to spend your late afternoon. Inside Toasted Crust, that choice continues: to the right sits a long, curved bar with a beautiful wooden top; to the left, a double-fired pizza oven. On this visit, the bar won the toss, and the service was impeccable. Bee’s craftsmanship behind the bar would impress even the most discerning cocktail enthusiast. Her advice for a pairing was spot on for the toasted cheese ravioli with a pesto dipping sauce. Stop in and choose for yourself—just choose wisely.
