We chose the 3 course Christmas option which in itself was delicious. The chicken pate was accompanied strangely, by raw cucumber and slices of oranges but no chutney as advertised. However the waiter was not conversant with the 3 course menu option and had trouble finding our choice of starters. We then had to keep finding someone to proceed to the next course. Also, EVERY piece of our cutlery had very obvious remnants of dried food and dried gravy marks on them, even the replacement ones- the waiter claimed they were not dried food but marks from the cutlery drier!!!!!!! Unfortunately, neither of us are aiming to return to Toby Carvery Amesbury again, let alone recommend it to others. Parking: Plenty of space to park. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30
