We immediately checked the bamboo shoots and meat buns from the same batch. They had the original taste of the bamboo shoots and were not spoiled. We understand that you may not be used to it, so you may find it smells strange. As for the cabbage in the fried rice noodles was undercooked and lacked saltiness, we will ask the chef to improve it. No matter what, we will refund you for these two products. The refund process is as follows: If you purchased in cash, please bring your receipt for on-site refund. If you swiped your card and have a receipt, you can call the store and tell them the receipt number, and the refund will be immediately credited to your credit card. If you paid by card and did not keep the receipt, please bring the same card to the store for refund. Thank you so much!More

I wish there were more asian delicatessens like this in Seattle! Tofu 101 is a small Taiwanese shop that offers affordable snacks, meals, desserts, and drinks. I got the pork cabbage buns, braised pork rice (lu rou fan), and a matcha tofu pudding, which in total ended up being around $23. The pork baos were big and meaty. The buns did come refrigerated though so something to be aware of if you are trying to eat right away. The lu rou fan was savory and flavorful. Matcha pudding was meh: not much matcha flavor and texture wasn't the best. All in all, really great affordable shop that offers authentic taiwanese food that I am definitely revisiting!
