Was in the area from out of town 12-13 around 2-3pm . Specifically stopped at this place cause they had the old school smoker in the back . They also had some modern ones . When I asked what meats the old smoker was used for the lady at the counter acted crazy about the question and got very defensive , none of the employees knew anything about the meats and smoking process . Me and my friend ate the ok BBQ , but we did question the authenticity of the meats being in the old smoker since the meats only had a hint of red ring . BBQ sauce had water added to it and had lost flavor and wouldn’t even stick to the meats . Can’t tell you if they have a spicy BBQ sauce since none was offered and didn’t want to bother the lady with any more questions . I did find hot sauce packets . Our hunt is still on for the classic side of the road vendor pulling a smoker behind their truck with that classic southern friendliness feel
