Tomato Café, situated on Kagoikedori in Kobe, offers a cozy spot for breakfast and lunch. While popular restaurant directories don't feature it extensively, the café holds its own charm with a profile on Google offering basic details. Known for serving a good cup of coffee, Tomato caters to those looking for a quick bite, specializing in breakfast and lunch options appreciated by solo diners.
Despite a lack of recent updates directly from the owners, customer reviews paint an intriguing picture of this small café's offerings. Guests frequently commend the variety of menu items, which have expanded over time, including seemingly frozen meals that manage to satisfy. The café doubles as a hospital cafeteria and draws not only regular external visitors but also hospital patients and staff.
Operating hours stretch from morning through afternoon on weekdays, concluding early by 14:30, while Saturdays and Sundays see shorter schedules. Note that service might be limited as there are no delivery options, and the establishment is cash-only. With a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of retro Japanese cafés, Tomato Café garners attention for its seasonal décor, adding a quaint touch to the otherwise functional setting. Visitation perks include takeaway options and the lure of collecting stamps for rewards, amplifying a sense of community and playful interaction.

. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
