I visited with my 4 year old son. All of the staff was welcoming and very attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I had chicken and waffles and it was delicious. I would visit this place again. 10/10 Highly recommend. Recently, 2 of my dearest friends of 35 years and I planned a get together but we needed a common location as we were all scattered around. I googled suggestions for good breakfast locations in Renton and "Tommy's Cafe" came up. I had the eggs benedict and they both had the chicken fried steak ....... We were not dissapointed. The food was delicious,. Service was always aware but not intrusive and the atmosphere was a bit like a vintage diner, not flashy. We spent 4 perfect hours catching up and never felt pushed out for any reason. Tommys Cafe has a big menu which includes lots of breakfast and lunch choices. We were there for breakfast but we were there long enough that I did observe some delicious looking burgers float buy us which encourages me for another trip! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free parking lot, Free street parking Parking: Tommys is located right on Rainier, south of the airport. The building is older, probably been around a long time but it has a large amount seating available. I don't feel it has enough parking stalls for the amount of seats but there is street parking available.
