It's great to try Japanese cuisine. A lot of people point out that waiters offer nicely cooked mushrooms, fish and vegetable tempura here. The pleasant staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Nice service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this restaurant. Small restaurant with parking space. Going in on a weekday for lunch, there was no need to wait, and I was promptly directed to a tatami table. The atmosphere was comfortable and homely, with very kind, considerate and friendly staff to match. The food, I got the Tomon set, was tentatively prepared and delicious. I particularly liked the kenchinjiru, and the rice was perfectly cooked, I could see the individual grains! I also got the grilled riceballs, which were the ultimate grilled riceballs that I had ever tasted; crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, so good. Would love to come back, to get the grilled riceballs again, and try other dishes on the menu at different seasons.
