Tonki is a Japanese restaurant nestled in a somewhat hidden dining area in Chuo, on the street of 1-12-22. It specializes in serving satisfying tonkatsu and other hearty meals for lunch and dinner. Patrons who have visited mentioned that it's a straightforward spot for tasty and inexpensive meals, ideal for those visiting the vibrant Ginza area. While apparently popular during lunchtime, expect a short wait before enjoying your meal, as each dish is cooked to order.
Operating six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, Tonki opens twice daily for both lunch and evening dinners. Guests often remark on the generous portion sizes, making it essential to bring a hearty appetite or share dishes among friends. Despite the lack of recent feedback, previous guests have had noteworthy experiences, describing its casual, cafeteria-style dining as offering a break from busier surroundings. For seafood lovers, there have been mentions of affordable seafood and creative menu items like 'half portions' to cater to lighter appetites.
If you're considering a visit, keep in mind that there's a noticeable absence of recent information or updates from the establishment itself. This quaint spot could prove an intriguing option if you're looking for classic Japanese flavors in a bustling district, but please bear in mind the details might have since changed due to limited recent reviews or information.
