People can eat perfectly cooked chicken, noodle soups and crab rangoon at this restaurant. A lot of guests find that the staff is competent here. At Tonsai, visitors can enjoy the homey atmosphere and beautiful decor.

I've had the spicy noodles twice. I don't do very spicy & these aren't really spicy at all. However, they are delicious. A simple pan fried noodle with ground chicken & veggies. A nice simple option on a cold night.

Went here for lunch and enjoyed it. Debated about giving it a 5 star because i wasn't blown away by the food but there was also nothing wrong with it or the venue. I got the spicy noodles and they were good and I ate it all. I guess it just didn't seem particularly different than other Asian fusion places I have been in the past.

This is truly a hidden gem on Alberta St. No other Asian-style restaurant has got me coming back again and again. The owner/chef even came out and checked on my family to make sure we enjoyed the food, and boy we did! I highly recommend the turmeric curry noodle dish, but I have never tasted something from Tonsai that I wouldn't at least give an 8/10. Everything is delicious (even the cocktails!) and the service is always incredible.
