It's not cold at all even if you walk without a coat in the warm end of Mutsuki! In the relaxed atmosphere, I came to lunch at Tonsuke, a pork cutlet specialty store a little east of the Omotemachi shopping street, which opened in June last year. The place where “Ensemble” used to be, and before that it was “Senpuku”. The store has a long structure in the back, with table seats and counter seats lined up in parallel. It hasn't changed at all from the time of Ensemble. The order is a loin cutlet set meal (1500 yen), and it is served in a little over 10 minutes. The loin cutlet is deep-fried for a long time, so the batter and the pork have a sense of unity. The thickness is solid, the fat is moderate, and the taste is sweet and high-quality. There must be! ! I ate most of it with rock salt and kneaded mustard ^^ One of the few Tonkatsu specialty stores in Okayama, the price is set higher, but it was a good quality Tonkatsu! I want tonkatsu culture to take root in Okayama.
