Wife and I were down the street for almost a week. This was our favorite place we have visited in Rome / Italy. Small, cozy, friendly, very affordable. Feels like your friends Italian family is taking care of you. We went the first time when Rome was on vacation and on a Saturday after traveling all day and absolutely nothing was open and they were closing in 30 minutes, they had sold the entire menu for the day. He asked me something I didn’t understand but sounded like he was offering food…so I said yes. 10 minutes later they bring us omelettes and fresh tomatoes and bread all prepared. We were so thankful and happy. Not a tourist trap and many locals eat there. I had the best pasta, it’s no frills just honest good food with people who care. Order at the counter and take your food to sit down. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–20
