What a great experience!! Tony Chowder House is located in the quaint town of Mt Dora, FL. The atmosphere inside and out is comfortable and relaxing. Tony, the owner provided amazing service. He was entertaining and made the the experience even better. Of course, we tried the chowder and it was simply amazing. It has even won awards..it a MUST TRY. The blacken fish cooked perfectly and delicious. Definitely worth a trip to try this little gem.

The best chowder either of us have ever tasted! And we have tried a lot. We had the fried seafood platter for two and it was excellent. Friendly and efficient staff. GREAT little place. Parking: Two spaces in front - one handicapped. Three spaces in the rear. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Potato Salad, Seafood Platter for Two, Fish, Award Winning Clam Chowder, Fried Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking
