Tony's of Cincinnati is an outstanding steakhouse that has earned its place as one of the top dining establishments in Cincinnati. The food is consistently excellent, from the bread to the salads to the steaks. The Dallas Clark strip is a particular standout, cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The crab cakes are also delicious, with the dijonnaise sauce providing the perfect complement. The sides are also noteworthy, particularly the Horsey Cream and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with lighting that is not too bright and noise levels that are not too loud.
The service at Tony's is exemplary, from the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the attentive and accommodating managers. Our server Matt was especially helpful, making great recommendations and ensuring that all dietary needs were taken into account. The owner himself was even willing to provide a complimentary dessert for special occasions.
Overall, Tony's of Cincinnati is an excellent restaurant that provides an unforgettable dining experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is exemplary. Highly recommended!
We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday with friends. Our first visit here and we were extremely pleased with all aspects. Hubby had steaks, and I had the special, which was a filet and 2 large scallops with a barley based risotto. Friends are vegetarian eaters and enjoyed a pasta dish, made without the pancetta and numerous sides. Everything was delicious. Servers and the assistants provided great service. We highly recommend Tony's of Cincinnati. What happened to the quality of the bar menu? We go frequently to the bar but not anymore. The last two times, this month and last, the mussels were so tiny and stringy not plump with a tomato paste instead of broth last month. My husband’s steak burger was not seared like it usually is and blood was dripping all around it when he picked the burger up! We miss you Tony!!
