I'm always searching for hidden gem restaurants in the area and while this one is mainly a take out place, I think it qualifies! Too much arepa has the best arepas in the area in my opinion! My benchmark is Celida's Cafe in Lilburn which serves amazing nutriarepas, IYKYK. This one is close by, affordable, has excellent arepas, and exceptional service. The owner was so kind and included a free tequeno in my order. His daughter came out behind the counter to say hi, she was adorable. It's a goal of mine to support family owned local businesses and this one is one I want to support, they seem to be working hard to provide a great product and service to match. Now to the arepas: the owner said it would take 10 minutes so we knew they were being made fresh. By the time we got home they were still piping hot. The Reina Pepiada was good, flavorful, and the arepa had a nice crunch on the outside. But the Pabellon arepa was the standout. The plantains were caramelized nicely and had a crispy exterior. The amount of cheese was generous and gave that extra savory flavor. The beans and meat were seasoned nicely. I will definitely return for this one! They're open until 10pm which is great for late night meals and way better for you than fast food joints. Keep in mind this is inside the Circle K gas station so there is no signage for the restaurant, you have to walk into the gas station and the order kiosk is on the left side next to the register. They also have daily and weekly specials! Please give this place a shot! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
