Once the promenade around the Ayazma Mosque is over, visit Took Sushi. The chef at this restaurant cooks good sushi, california rolls and tempura. Many reviewers note that the staff is cool here. We had such a lovely dinner at Took Sushi while spending the day on the Asian side of IstanbulEverything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor We started with the edamame and Tom Yum soup, which was absolutely delicious—the soup had a wonderful combination of mushrooms, ginger and coconut milk with just the right amount of spice. We also enjoyed the gyoza, bang bang shrimp with a spicy sauce, vegetable noodles, and a sweet-and-sour chicken dish. Everything came out beautifully prepared and the portions were very generous What I especially enjoyed was being able to try several different Asian flavors in one meal rather than only sushi. The food was delicious, comforting and very satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. After traveling over from the European side and spending the day exploring this part of Istanbul, Took Sushi was a wonderful way to end our evening. Definitely worth a visit if you’re on the Asian side.
