I ordered the Arabic shawarma plate and manakish from Ayam Zaman, and honestly, the taste was horrible. The food lacked flavor and didn’t feel fresh at all. There are plenty of much better Syrian restaurants in Essen with way better taste and the same prices. I had high expectations, but this was a total letdown. Definitely not going back.
