The best restaurant in Zamami is also the most unassuming. Conveniently on the way to the ATM, this hidden gem serves a hearty and tasty variety of dishes fit for any taste. I had the pork yakiniku, which I had no idea what it was; and what it is, is delicious. The chef is super accommodating and the lady who took my order was so nice and helpful. It’s also very nice to communicate with someone in perfectly clear English. I can’t recommend this place enough. After a few less than optimal experiences in the island’s most popular places, Torajiro gave me back my hope of having delicious and hearty Japanese food in Kerama. Oh and the prices are great too. This was our favorite spot to eat during our visit. It was a casual place with good food and there were cats hanging around They were welcoming and sat us right away. Food came out quickly and was delicious. We were lucky enough to come back for dinner a couple days later without any wait time.
