The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is good. Prompt service is something guests agree upon here. Prices at Torikichi claim to be attractive. The food was good but we’ve got scammed at the end. While we waited for the food we ordered, a couple of shimeji saladas was brought to our table. We tried to say that we didn’t order that but the waitress made it look like it was something complementary. At the end when the bill came we paid 1000¥ extra from this non ordered food. A small and cozy yakitori place that opens even in the afternoons, this place offers decent yakitori and yakisoba. The yakisoba has a very nostalgic and homely flavour, and the prices are a little bit more expensive than typical yakitori places - but to be expected given this is Asakusa, a tourist spot. The decor though is extremely rustic and evokes a sense of the early 2000s. Lovely spot that is tucked away along the bustling Asakusa streets. Worth a try.
