First meal and last meal in Japan - excellent atmosphere (smoky and full of good cheer and laughter) - the friendly patrons helped us order and offer a firm “OISHII!” - they also recognised us on our final meal and came to us with a warm smile and handshake. The server was friendly and although we had a language barrier, he helped us order an excellent meal and made sure our drink orders were swift. Thanks again for our memorable experience, my fiancé still talks about how delicious the liver skewers were, for me the salted bbq okra and pork were extremely flavourful! Avoid if you don’t like cigarette smoke, for us, it was a memory of an older time when smoking, eating and drinking could be enjoyed together. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
