This was easily the best duck shabu shabu I’ve ever had, maybe even the best shabu shabu overall. It’s so simple. Just duck, green onion, and a clear broth. But somehow it comes together perfectly. The broth is light but really aromatic, and you don’t even need any sauce. It’s that good on its own. The drinks were also great. You have to try the fresh squeezed grapefruit sour, it’s so refreshing. And the hojicha ice cream at the end ties everything together really nicely. A must try in Tokyo for me.
