I had a great dining experience at Torishige. The vibe was awesome. The counter seats gave us a visual and olfactory experience. It was fun to watch the Toriyaki Chef at work. Conversation, food, chats (not loud) exude energy. The staffs were patient with us as we did not understand Japanese. The restaurant was full but after a short wait, the staff led us to three counter seats. English menu is available. The food was delicious! It has food of different textures and tastes even though all were grilled. This is amazing! I enjoyed my food immensely with a drink of Lemon Sour. I love the entrance. The facade of the restaurant and its wooden sliding door added to a quintessentially Japanese atmosphere. It has a hole - in a the - wall even though the restaurant is facing the Main Street. The price was reasonable at S$40 plus per pax. I was satisfied with the food quality and portion size. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
