Worst dunning experience in Japan for my 3 weeks trip. The family run restaurant is very traditional, no one speaks English so the lady didn't understand our order and we waited for a long time in vain. There're some guests smoking in the restaurant and we were surprised it's still allowed in Japan. The food finally came and the grilled chicken was tough and tasted not close to fair which was advertised as the best selling dish, another blanched chicken dish and deep fried tofu were okay. The small appetizers they gave us (small potato salad and one slice of duck breast) was charges for ¥ 700 which we thought of was a welcoming gesture and won't have taken it otherwise. The staffs were friendly but we won't recommend this place. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
