They warned me ahead of time there were no English menus available and I asked if it was okay for me to use my translate app to view and they said no problem and sat me at the counter. I appreciated their accommodation when some small shops don’t want any gaijin. I did run into a brief hiccup with the drink menu not translating because it is a basement restaurant. I panic ordered my drink and got received a refreshing Jasmine tea, though I would have been happy with any tea or sake. The food menu was quite extensive, the translation was a little weird for some items but I ordered the chicken skin and chicken breast with yuzu pepper sauce. Both were very delicious, but especially the yuzu pepper. Fantastic yakitori! The gentleman who I believe to be the owner behind the counter was very nice and talked to me throughout my meal about my trip and what places I had seen and he was nice enough to provide recommendations for further into my trip when I visit Hokkaido. I will definitely be trying the jingisukan when I’m there! I really appreciate the meal and accommodation! Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From Hatchobori Station, Chuo Ward This is a yakitori restaurant about 2 minutes walk away. I'm away from home This is a yakitori restaurant that I come to two or three times a week. lol First of all, yakitori and skewers. The rabbit has a lot of volume and is exquisite. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the scent of charcoal. Describing it as having a deep flavor is appropriate. Even though it's a yakitori restaurant, there are other items on the menu. A large selection of products and flavors that do not make any compromises. All of the employees are friendly and it feels comfortable And the most fun thing about coming to Torisuke-san is Rare Japanese sake arrives frequently. I think if you like sake and yakitori, you have no choice but to go there.
