If this isn't on your list when you travel through or pick where to eat in Liberal KS, you are just wrong. Such an outstanding place. Great staff, great food, amazing brews. What else can you ask for ?

Very ordinary. Tried it on our way thru Liberal and it did not live up to the reviews. Upon entering it was not clear whether we should wait to be seated, so we wandered. Then grabbed seats at the bar and the counter height was at our chins. Moved to a high top and we didn’t see any staff so we wondered if it was perhaps self service. Got up to leave and a server finally came over. Service was fine from that point on and food was OK. Beer was good. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

During our annual WI to AZ road trip, we visit local breweries at every stop. Tortuga was one of the very best of the many we visited. The beer was excellent and our food was wonderful. Also, Mikala was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We strongly recommend Tortuga!
