Not bad pizza but not cheap. The dough is pretty normal, but the ingredients are a lot and feel good. Ordered the 7 cheese pizza and it felt more like a sauce in the top of the pizza. The roast beef "salad" (if you can call it that) was nicely presented and the sauces were pretty good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Just had an amazing dinner at Tototo (トトト) in Nakano, Tokyo, and I have to say it’s one of the best pizza spots I’ve tried recently! Everything is freshly made right in front of you in their open kitchen, which adds such a lively vibe—the sound of the pizza oven and the chef’s energy make the whole experience fun and engaging. What really stands out is how unique and creative their pizzas are. They blend Italian classics with Japanese-inspired ingredients, giving each bite a fresh twist that’s not your typical pizza joint fare. The highlight for me was the option to get a pizza as half-and-half—you can split one pizza into two different toppings/flavors. It’s perfect for sharing or just wanting to try more varieties without ordering multiple whole pies. We went with that and loved being able to sample different combinations in one go. The oyster pasta (oyster Italian-style spaghetti, probably something like oyster peperoncino or similar) was incredibly delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked al dente. The oysters were fresh and generous, making it a standout dish. We were a party of two, and I really appreciated how thoughtful the chef/staff were—they kindly split one portion into two separate plates for us without us even asking. Such nice attention to detail! Overall, the food is creative, high-quality, and satisfying, the atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, and the service is warm and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re in the Nakano area and craving something special. We’ll definitely be back! 5/5 stars from me.
