My friends and I came from out of town and we were told that this spot would be a fun place for us to have a good time. When we got there, we were immediately stared at. The music was not good and when we requested better songs, they said that it would only have to be music from the 60s 70s or 80s. This is 2026. Nobody wants to hear that. Majority of the people had to be no older than 26 and a lot of people were sitting down because the music was trash. We immediately left after realizing that nothing fun was going to happen and after chatting with a few people, they said that it’s normally like this and that we should go somewhere else for a better vibe. They eventually followed us out as well. If you like older country music or Bob Dylan playing at a college bar, this place is for you. Atmosphere: 1

The chese steak sub sucked. Beer was good. Atmosphere was just fair. Just a college dive bar. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: Meat eater! Touchdowns is a fun enough bar. It’s definitely a lot more corporate than the other bars in Five Points, and is lacking in a distinctive personality. With that being said, it is a fun place to stop by and grab a drink, and you can actually taste the liquor in their cocktails, which you can’t say for every bar in the area. I will also say that their bartender (I’m unsure of his name) does a great job and is always very nice and friendly. A lot of times bartenders come off as very arrogant and seem like they hate their lives, but I love how interactive he is and how he always seems to be having a great time. All-in-all, I would describe Touchdowns as an average bar with a great bartender!
