If I had to describe Symi's cuisine in one word, it would be "authenticity." My wife and I spent seven days on the island, six of which we dined at Symi. The only exception was Sunday, when the restaurant was closed. The Symi phenomenon is, above all, honesty, good prices, Irene's smile, and the professionalism of her husband, Paris. The menu is flexible, depending on what they find fresh at the market in the morning, which goes hand in hand with fresh vegetables and indigenous bread from the heart of Rhodes, baked in a medieval oven. I would like to give special mention to the shrimp and octopus, which are prepared to perfection. Dinner at Symi is not complete without a Greek salad paired with the aforementioned bread. Don't forget to ask for a carafe of the house wine, which I guarantee will make your evening more pleasant, because it is a true Greek wine worthy of being sacrificed on the altar of an ancient temple. What sets this place apart from other restaurants? Here, you're treated like a friend visiting old friends, not just another customer to be swindled out of their euros. On the surface, it's a café, but in reality, it's the best restaurant in Rhodes. What the hell am I saying, it's the best restaurant in Greece. Very tasty and good welcoming staff, but the price is high. 3 euro for bread, 15 euros for 5 sardines. But it was delicious. No toilet here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €45–50

Great little cafe. Beautifully simple Greek food and fish. Absolutely lovely owners. Would thoroughly recommend this place to stop!
